Dr. Marron-Tarrazzi is a Board Certified Periodontist in Miami, FL specializing in dental implants and treatment of periodontal diseases.
Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Marron-Tarrazzi received her dental degree (D.M.D.) in 1996 from Universidad Central de Venezuela, where she graduated in the top five percent of her class. In 2000, Dr. Marron-Tarrazzi completed her post-doctoral training at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where she received her Certificate in Periodontology and Master of Science degree (M.S.). Later in 2003, she earned her D.M.D. from Nova Southeastern University. Since 2004, Dr. Marron-Tarrazzi has been a Diplomate of American Board of Periodontology, this is an honorary distinction amongst the dental community.
She is a visiting Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine, lecturing to pre-doctoral and post-doctoral dental students as well as The University of Florida. Her specialty areas of interest include Periodontal Medicine, Dental Implants and Soft tissue Grafting topics on which she lectures nationally and internationally.
Her active participation in national and international dental societies includes Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, South Florida District Dental Association, Pierre Fauchard Academy, American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Dr. Marron-Tarrazzi was the president of the South Florida District Dental Association and Greater Miami Dental Association. She is currently is the Florida Representative for the American Dental Association, New Dentist Committee, a consultant to the Government Action Committee of the Florida Dental Association and an ITI Study Club Director.
She is fluent in English and Spanish. When she is not at the office enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves reading, traveling and discovering new flavors of the local cuisine.
